Where can I buy tickets?

On our website and on Eventbrite’s website - www.eventbrite.co.uk/e/club-antichrist-tickets

On the door on the night. Even if advance tickets sell out we always keep 300 tickets on the door. You can reserve tickets to purchase on the door when online ones are sold out. Email us at info@clubantichrist.com with ‘ticket reservation’ as the subject. Tell us your name and the number of tickets you wish to buy on the door. Then arrive early (usually before midnight, but check our social media for up to date information) and pay cash on the door. Door tickets are £35 each.

I'm having problems purchasing a ticket, what do I do?

Please visit the Eventbrite website for help!

I have not received my E-Ticket.

Please check your spam/junk box! Everyone will receive an email from Eventbrite.

Entering with an E-Ticket

You will need to take your e-ticket with you to the entrance at the club.  Tickets can be shown on your phone. You don't need to print a copy unless you want to (if you're attending without your phone for example).

Please have your ticket open on your phone and set bright ready for scanning when you arrive.

You will get a hand stamp from AC staff, once they've scanned you in, then venue security will check your bag and you (for weapons, drugs etc) and they will scan your ID.

Scala says:

We require everyone to present Photo ID and we use ID scanning. This means that you need to present the original physical (non-digital) ID to be scanned on entry. Without appropriate ID you may be refused entry. Check the event details.

The forms of ID we accept are

  • Driving licence with photo

  • Passport

  • Photo ID card with a PASS hologram.

You can apply for a Photo ID PASS card in advance from validateuk.co.uk.

For more information and PASS card options visit pass-scheme.org.uk

Please note if you are unable to attend AC for any reason or if you are refused entry you will not receive a refund. All ticket sales are non-refundable. R.O.A.R. applies. Please check our dresscode as well, if in doubt as to what to wear to AC.

Cameras

Do you allow cameras in Club AntiChrist?

Cameras and mobile phone camera use are NOT permitted in Club AC unless you have a photopass from us clearly displayed on your person

APART FROM in our selfie box in the Garden area!

If you are caught taking pictures you will be asked to leave NO REFUNDS!

If you are caught taking photos/video outside of the selfie box, your images will be deleted, and you will be ejected from the venue, no refunds, no warnings!

I am a photographer, may I take photos at AC?

Possibly, please contact us with links to your work. If we have room for you, we'll contact you about obtaining a photopass.

Dresscode

What is the dress code?

Alternative! If you would look out of place at a normal pub/club/PTA meeting, you're on the right track!

Ideas and inspiration: Punk, Goth, Fetishwear, Vampire, Rockabilly, Cybergoth, Steampunk, Metaller, Lolita, Cottagecore, Kawaii, Dark Academia, Faerie, Darkwear/Techwear, Cosplay

Wear rubber, leather, shibari ropes, lace, PVC, uniforms, corsets, ballgowns, braces, BIG boots, tiny tops, wings, glitter and top hats.

The minimum is Alt-Comfortable - Combats, Band Tee, Boots - we don’t want to alienate or discourage anyone who wants to come and be part of AC, but we have found that the atmosphere suffers if the dress gets too casual.

What not to wear:

Street clothes, white trainers, 'normal' suits, normal denim jeans. Simply arriving in street wear and wearing a mask won't do either.

No genital nudity, venue regulations I’m afraid!

No Nazi era German military uniforms including rank insignias and  armbands, no Nazi usage of the Swastikas, no SS insignias including  lightning strike runes and SS skull and crossbones. Everything  else is acceptable within the standard dress code including military  boots, military hats and caps, cosplay (e.g. Hydra), generic armbands.

A small sample of the range of outfits our guests wear…

PLEASE NOTE: If you have a ticket and are not appropriately dressed you wont get a refund if we refuse you entry. (ROAR)

If in doubt please do email us for advice info@clubantichrist.com - you can even send pics of your planned outfit. We don’t mind, and will always take the time to help and reassure you so you can arrive confident and ready to have a great time!

Our dress code is broad and we are not elitist, but we do want to ensure that everyone attending feels comfortable and safe.

If you are introducing friends to AC for the first time, please do point out the dress code in advance.

Changing - we don’t have a specific changing area at AC, but lots of guests change in the loos or find a quiet corner when they arrive. You may arrive in street clothes, but will be asked at the door to show that you have an outfit to change into. There is a cloakroom inside (run by the venue).

Weapons

Can I bring a (real) symbolic weapon as part of my outfit?

I'm afraid not. This is the decision of the venue's security team. You will be searched upon entry, and anything they declare dangerous will be held for you until you exit the venue.

Claw rings and studded belts/collars etc may be held by security if they deem it too dangerous, although most make it in unscathed. You will get a receipt and be able to collect it on your way out. Pretend weapons such as steampunk ray guns or replica pistols etc are also fine, but security will want to check that they are fake or de activated.

Age Restriction

Is there an age restriction at AC?

Yes indeed, it’s 18+

Wheelchair Access

Does the venue have wheelchair access?

Scala Scala is a very old building. One of the biggest challenges for those with mobility problems is the various levels throughout the building.

Scala is in fact the latin word for stairs.

All stairs have sturdy handrails. There are three steps into reception, 37 steps to the foyer bar, 14 steps to the main arena (54 total), 24 steps from the foyer bar to the toilets (64 total) and a further 23 steps to the balcony bar (87 total).

If you need some help with access our team are on hand. Please contact our box office ideally at least three days in advance and let us know. We may ask you to arrive ten minutes before doors open so you can enter in advance.

More info at scala.co.uk/admission/

NOTE: We accept the Access card - so if you need a free carer’s ticket or need to make us aware of something else, send us an email with a screenshot or photo of your card. www.accesscard.org.uk

Facilities

What facilities are provided at the venue?

Scala has a cloakroom, private outdoor smoking area, and indoor heating and aircon.

Toilets - all toilets at Scala are gender neutral apart from 1 female only and 1 male only. Everyone is covered :)

How often is Club AntiChrist on?

AntiChrist runs roughly every two-three months.

The Rules

What are the rules at Club AntiChrist?

  • No cameras. Official photographers will wear press badges.

  • AntiChrist and Scala have a strict no drugs policy

  • No food or drink can be brought into the venue - this is a venue rule. Security will confiscate anything, chewing gum, water, sealed packets of food etc... Sorry!

  • The venue require valid government id to scan upon entry. This could be a passport, drivers licence or photo id with a PASS hologram. See top of page for details.

 CONSENSUAL BEHAVIOUR POLICY

Consent is 100% required and expected at AC.

Every guest should be able to enjoy their night free of harassment.

ALWAYS ASK before touching anyone at AC. Anyone who does not follow this simple rule will be ejected from the club and barred for life.

What should I do if I spot/have a problem?

If you see something that you think is not allowed (eg someone taking a photo/lone person in the dark playroom) OR if you have a problem yourself (eg you've lost an item/think the aircon should be on but isn't...) there are several people you can talk to.

  1. Security, they are generally lovely and friendly, and can be found by the main entrance and the smoking area doors.

  2. Ticket booth staff, between 10pm-2.30am there will be a member of staff in the ticket booth.

  3. Rin, our Event Manager. She wears a lit lanyard and roams the venue.

  4. Bob, our Floor manager. He wears a lit lanyard and roams the venue.

  5. Dungeon Monitors. They wear lit lanyards too.

If you spot something amiss but don't tell anyone, we can't get it fixed! We are happy to sort out heating/aircon, music levels, cleaning issues etc on the night, so do pass it on! DO TELL US ON THE NIGHT SO WE CAN RESOLVE THE ISSUE FOR YOU! :)

Music Policy

What kind of music do you play?

We have several dance floors, The Hellfire Room (Mashup of Goth, 80’s, Post Punk and Alternative Anthems ), PFI  (New and classic dark electro, futurepop and industrial pop), The Hole (Metal)
